Laura Lloyd, CPA

Laura joins RiversEdge in the Tax & Advisory practice as a Partner, specializing in Tax. Laura is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the firm’s tax-related services. Her role includes ensuring compliance with tax regulations, providing strategic tax planning and advice, consulting on business and financial statement preparation, and ensuring the firm consistently delivers exceptional tax services to our clients.

Laura brings over 13 years of industry experience. Before joining RiversEdge Advisors, she held influential roles at AKA Advisory for over a decade, including leading Business & Staff Development practices. Her tax experience has focused on mid-sized businesses, high-net worth individuals, multi-state taxation, R&D credits and research. She’s also acted as an outsourced CFO for clients in manufacturing and digital media.

Laura holds her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation and shares her time and expertise with several organizations, including Leadership Delaware, Theatre N, Estate Planning Counsel of Delaware, Gals that Give, and Chi Omega Fraternity. She was also part of Delaware Business Times’ 40 under 40. Laura earned a B.S degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Delaware.
